TUNING RATES FOR 2023

We charge $145 + tax for a regular piano tuning within our normal service area.  Pianos that have not been tuned regularly may need a “double tuning” (or more  correctly, a pitch raise and tuning) for which we charge an additional $100. For piano tuning in outlying areas, there is an additional fee for mileage/travel time.

Repairs to fix sticking keys, replacement of broken strings, adjusting pedals, etc., are not included in the tuning fee.  Our on-site repairs are done at $95/hr. Typically, most repairs take less than an hour.

For pianos that cannot be tuned due to severe mechanical deficiencies, loose tuning pins, etc., there is a minimum service call charge of $95. This amount can be applied to the price of a new or reconditioned replacement piano from our retail store.

Piano Storage

Both short and long-term storage of pianos is available using our fully-insured, climate-controlled storage facility. Our 2023 rate per day is $3. We can provide the names of preferred movers to pick up your piano. Our minimum storage time is 30 days, unless prior arrangements have been made. Storage fees are collected semi-annually in March and September or when your piano is set for delivery back to your home or facility.

Piano/Organ Disposal

 

If you have an unwanted  piano or organ, we can dispose of it and remove it from your home using our professional piano movers.  If your piano or organ is less than 44″ tall, on a first floor, and within our normal service area, our disposal fee is $250.  The fee for instruments 45″ in height (or taller), for small grand pianos, and pianos not on a first floor is $350 or more.
