Tuning Rates for 2024-25

We charge $150 + tax for a regular piano tuning within our normal service area.  Pianos that have not been tuned regularly may need a “double tuning” (or more  correctly, a pitch raise and tuning) for which we charge an additional $100. For piano tuning in outlying areas, there is an additional fee for mileage/travel time.

Repairs to fix sticking keys, replacement of broken strings, adjusting pedals, etc., are not included in the tuning fee.  Our on-site repairs are done at $100/hr. Typically, most repairs take less than an hour.

For pianos that cannot be tuned due to severe mechanical deficiencies, loose tuning pins, etc., there is a minimum service call charge of $100. Within 30 days, this amount may be applied toward  the purchase or rental of a new or used replacement piano.

Moving

Piano moving needs to be done by professionals. We recommend a knowledgeable, fully insured, piano mover, Creative Crating & Moving, at 419-350-9655. Speak with the owner, Jared, for a quotation on moving.

After you have determined on what date the piano will be delivered, call us to schedule a piano tuning. You should allow two weeks for the piano to acclimate to its new environment .  Call us at 419-472-0202.

Piano Storage

Both short and long-term storage of pianos are available using our fully-insured, climate-controlled storage facility. Our 2024-25 rate per day is $3. We can provide the name of our preferred mover to pick up your piano. Our minimum storage period is 30 days, unless prior arrangements have been made. Storage fees are billed semi-annually in March and September or when your piano is set for delivery back to your home or facility.

Piano Recycling

If you have an unwanted  piano or organ, we can remove it from your home using our preferred piano movers and recycle it. If your piano or organ is less than 45″ tall, on a first floor, and within our normal service area, our recycling fee is $300.  Our fee for instruments 45″ tall (or taller), for small grand pianos, pianos not on a first floor or outside of our normal service area will be quoted. To make arrangements for the recycling of your piano or organ, call us at 419.472.0202.
