Teaching Staff at Craig’s
Contact any one of our teachers below and arrange to meet with them at our teaching studio. Lesson days and times vary by the teacher. One-half hour lessons are $25.00 each and generally taken once per week. Students taking lessons are given a 10% discount on lesson books and study materials.
Piano: Donna Skiver 419/690-4263
Ms. Skiver teaches all ages and levels with emphasis on jazz, popular and classical styles with over 50 years of teaching experience. She has studied jazz and holds certificates from Sherwood Music School and Capital University (in Suzuki method). Previously, Ms. Skiver taught at Grinnell’s Music Store and LaSalle’s Music Department.
Piano: Roza Kravets 419/654-0552
Ms. Kravets teaches all ages and levels, with 30+ years of experience in the European School of Classical Piano style. She has taught in Toledo for over 20 years and holds a Masters in Music from the Music Conservatory in the Ukraine.
Percussion: Paul Nieft, Jr. M.A. 419/376-3765
Paul has over thirty five years of experience in teaching percussion (drums, snare drum, drum set and hand drums). He earned his Bachelor of Arts and Master of Arts degrees from the University of Toledo and is a member of the Golden Key National Honor Society. Paul was recognized by Disney Enterprise with their “Disney’s Teacher of the Year” award in 2000. He has recorded hundreds of commercials, jingles and recordings aired in the US, Europe and Japan. Paul is the author of many education articles published in leading musical periodicals and has written four text books in percussion education.
